"I was completely scammed. I am new in the Netherlands, and I didn't notice that the professional was taking advantage of me until I saw the total amount to pay. The job was simple, change the toilet valve to a new one. I am not a professional myself, but I am also not stupid to know that this type of work doesn't require 2 and a half hours and 340 euros to be done. He was clearly extending the time on purpose (while I didn't know he had a clock timer ticking since minute 1), took almost 1 hour outside to "buy the piece that was supposed to be repaired", explaining that it was not simple to find (it was just a normal toilet valve). Then, charged me 135 euros for that valve, I asked for the invoice of the material purchased which he refused to provide. He insisted that 135 euros for that material was the standard price for the material, which I totally don't believe. I had no other option but to pay the total of the invoice, since he was insisting he couldn't leave until the payment was done, and if I had anything to say, I had to talk with the company. I kindly ask KLUSUP to review this case and give me a solution. The amount paid and the way the professional was clearly taking advantage of me without knowing how the system works is a complete shame. The work done was easy to be completed in one hour. And, furthermore, the problem was clearly explained when I applied for the service, so he should've been prepared to come with the materials needed, and not be absent for one hour and then come back."
